Phamrong falls is a stunning waterfall just 7 km from Yuksom in West Sikkim. It is the highest waterfall in West Sikkim and among the best places to visit around Yuksom. From the road, we need to climb for about 5 mins on stairs to get the first glimpse of the falls.
Set in the midst of lush greenery, this waterfall cascades down from the magnificent Kanchenjunga Ranges. There is a nice, safe pool at the bottom of the falls where one can take a dip in cold waters. The water gushing down the rocky plateau creates an amazing vista of a play between water and rocks
Kanchenjunga waterfalls is another perennial multi-tier waterfall that is one of the major tourist attractions in the region. It is just half an hour’s drive from the beautiful hill station of Pelling in West Sikkim. It is believed that the pristine waterfall originates high up in the glaciers of Mount Kanchenjunga.
